30 More Days!

Hi again!

Well, it looks like I'll be pulling out of Oklahoma in exactly 30 days!! I can't believe it, time is just flying by!

An update on travel plans:
The Zerbys are renting a UHaul trailer because Keaton is moving into an unfurnished apartment, which means he needs to take a couch, a bed, a table, etc. So I will pull that to Florida on the back of my truck and Keaton will drive his car. Janet (Keaton's mom) and my mom want to go with us and help us get settled in!

We will leave Edmond on Saturday, August 18. It takes a couple of days to drive to Tallahassee, so we should arrive late Sunday night or finish the drive early Monday morning. We will spend Monday getting Keaton's stuff moved in to his apartment and arranging and decorating. (Well, I'll try, but I don't know how successful I will be ... LOL) Tuesday we will head to Orlando and stay there so I can check in early Wednesday morning (August 22nd).

That first morning is when I will receive my housing and job assignments, have my housing ID taken, move in to the apartment, get parking stickers, etc. There is a 2-hour "housing welcome session" meeting - probably where I learn all the rules!!

The second day I will be finding out more about my work location, finishing up paperwork, enrolling for my college classes at Disney University, and setting up for payroll.

The third or fourth day I will be attend "Tradtions" which is the Disney Orientation (my first "official" day of work!!)

After that, I'll do more training at my work site and then get down to business!! From what I understand, I will be working anywhere from 32-55 hours a week! I think my schedule will fluctuate based on what time of year it is and how busy the park is.
