Hello, friends and family!!
Well, those of you who know me well will probably be surprised to see that I have started a blog ... since I have NO idea how to do technology stuff! But I want to stay in touch with a lot of people while I am gone, and I figured this was the easiest way! I'm not trying to be conceited, thinking all of you will want to log on here and read about my life, but maybe this will encourage you to write to me and keep me updated on your lives!
In case you haven't heard, I am moving from Oklahoma to Orlando, Florida, for a five-and-a-half-month internship at Disney World! This is such a great opportunity for me! Disney is the TOP in hospitality (what I am studying in school) and it will be great to have a Fortune 100 company on my resume!
The hardest part is leaving friends, family, and dance!! But I keep telling myself I will be back in January and things will be great!!
Once I have my travel plans all set, I will update this. Right now, all I know is I need to report to Disney World on August 22. Only then will I find out where I am working and who I will be living with! It is such a surprise - and I love it! I can't wait to find it all out!
